Pimple Popping Procedures
Underground blemishes, whiteheads, and cysts can often feel painful. This type of acne cannot be forced to the surface. However, applying ice to the area a few times a day can easily soothe them. By icing 2 minutes each time and applying your powerful Spot Treat with a Q-tip, this usually results in a reduction of the swelling, and the blemish soon disappears.
When a blemish appears to be a whitehead, and you know it will be very easy to extract, follow the next steps to clean the blemish properly for the best results.
- Wash hands thoroughly with a cleanser.
- Wrap your finger with tissue to create a barrier between your nails and the blemish.
- Gently press down to extract (if it seems as if you need to push harder, stop and begin icing and apply the Spot Treat. Damaging the skin can occur if pushing is aggressive).
- Use alcohol wipes to clean the bacteria from the skin.
- Apply your spot-treating product with a Q-tip.

Acne Safe Recipes
Egg White in Avocado
Ingredients:
- 1 medium avocado
- Egg whites from 2 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
- Slice avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the flesh from each avocado half.
- Put avocado halves in a small dish (making sure they fit tightly)
- Put egg whites into the scooped-out area in the avocado until full.
- Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until your egg whites are set.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

How are you protecting your skin during and after swimming?
Swimming pool disinfectants contain iodides and chlorine, which can aggravate acne. When swimming, apply your sunscreen, then tap a light, protective layer of Vaseline over your entire face to protect it against harsh chemicals. If you wipe your face with your towel, be sure to reapply sunscreen and Vaseline again.
